Smoked Tuna Chowder

Slice leeks finely and sauté until tender but not brown. Add herbs and sauté for a few more minutes. Add three medium potatoes and five cups of stock. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Add carrots and simmer until the potatoes and carrots are soft. Puree soup in a food mill or processor. Flake Catch of the Sea Alder-Smoked Premium tuna with a fork. Add milk and stir gently. Add smoked tuna and tuna liquid. Simmer for another five to ten minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
